State & International Thespian Festivals

Written permission for actors to perform scenes or monologues by Jeff Goode at their State Thespian Festival or the International Thespian Festival can be obtained for a flat royalty of $5.00

• Send your name and address, the name of the school you attend, the region in which you will be competing, and the piece you will be performing, to:
  

• Since the State Thespian Festivals generally requires some form of written permission, within 8-10 days, you will receive a letter formally granting you permission to perform the piece at all levels of the competition for one year.
  

PLEASE NOTE: These guidelines have been put in place to provide a quick and easy way for Thespians to obtain the necessary permissions for their competition pieces.

Due to frequent past abuses of this convenience, I can no longer make exceptions for people who are unable or unwilling to follow the instructions on this page. If you are submitting your request within 8 days of the date of your competition, I'm afraid you will have to drop the piece and choose another to perform, as I can no longer grant permissions by phone, fax or email, under any circumstances.
