Irene Ryan Acting Competition

If you require written permission to perform any monologue or scene by Jeff Goode in the Irene Ryan Acting Competitions, a letter of permission signed by the author can be obtained for a flat royalty of $5.00.

• Send your name and address, the name of the college you attend, the region in which you will be competing, and the piece you will be performing, to:
  

• Since the A.C.T.F. generally requires some form of written permission, within 8-10 days, you will receive a letter formally granting you permission to perform the piece at all levels of the competition.
  

PLEASE NOTE: These guidelines have been put in place to provide a quick and easy way for Irene Ryan participants to obtain the necessary permissions for their audition pieces.

Due to frequent past abuses of this convenience, I can no longer make exceptions for people who are unable or unwilling to follow the instructions on this page. If you are submitting your request within 8 days of the date of your competition, I'm afraid you will have to drop the piece and choose another to perform, as I can no longer grant last-minute permissions by phone, fax or email, under any circumstances.
