Cupid, Demigod of Love

This monologue was originally written as a stand-alone piece to be performed at No Shame Theatre. (Hence, the reference to Iowa City's water supply, which was notoriously funny-tasting.)

Later, while writing Narcissus & Echo, a new musical based loosely on the Greek myth, Cupid was added to the play as a sort of comic narrator. (This despite the fact that he is Roman and not really Greek at all.)
