Hello Jeff!I think I mentioned to you last year when I taught text analysis I to the MFA's, I had them read lots of translations of UBU, and that yours was extremely popular. IN fact, those who read yours, liked UBU ROI as a play. All of the others really didn't like it and some hated it.
The more I thought about it, yours IS the best because it is AIMED at young audiences (without dumbing down in any way.) If Jarry wrote this play when he was 15 and audacioius, then that tells us the ideal audience for it, doesn't it?
I'd like to exclusively use your text now for my class.
