Bruce Jacklin & Company was formed in 2004 with a group of actors and volunteers wanting to put together quality entertainment for the community of Mount Vernon. Since then, Bruce Jacklin & Company has produced dozens of quality productions. Most of these productions have been performed at The Alcove Dinner Theater in downtown Mount Vernon, Ohio. In 2007, Bruce Jacklin & Company and MTVarts produced Disney's Beauty and the Beast at the Knox County Memorial Theatre. In 2008, the company took the audience back to Neverland with J.M. Barrie's story of a boy that would never grow up, Peter Pan! The company crossed over the rainbow with their 2009 spectacle of The Wizard Of Oz. This summer, 2010 the musical ANNIE will pack the Memorial Theater as a new generation discovers this classic gem.
